Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc. developed the Fring™ Footrest as a solution to the problem of where to comfortably put your feet when you are seated at work. Applied ergonomic observations show most people occasionally use the legs of the base of their chair to rest their feet. This posture may reduce the angle of the foot, thereby restricting circulation. The ergonomic design of the Fring™ Footrest opens the leg to foot and encourages a healthy positioning of the body. It also provides greater support for the knees; whereas, resting your feet on the base of the chair may compromise the ankle and knee angle and reduce blood flow to the feet and lower legs.
